Why isn't my FI date showing?
Your FI date appears once you have at least one asset, a monthly contribution set, and a target annual spend configured. Check the Profile tab to make sure all three are set.
Can I connect my brokerage account?
No — intentionally. Eject is local-first and never connects to external accounts. Update your asset values manually when you review your portfolio.
How does the FI date calculation work?
Eject uses a compound growth model: your current net worth grows at a weighted average return (calculated from your per-asset return assumptions), plus your monthly contributions, until it reaches your FI number (target annual spend × FI multiplier, default 25×).
What is the Supporter Pack?
A one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional themes (Midnight and Terminal). It supports continued development — thanks if you grabbed it.
I purchased the Supporter Pack but the themes are still locked.
Tap Restore Purchases on the Themes screen. If the issue persists, email support@unarmedpuppy.com with your Apple ID email (no password needed) and we'll sort it out.
My data disappeared after updating the app.
This shouldn't happen — Eject uses SwiftData which persists across updates. Email us at support@unarmedpuppy.com and we'll help diagnose. Include your iOS version and device model if possible.
How do I back up my data?
Eject data is included in your standard iOS device backup (iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backup). You can also enable iCloud sync in Settings → Eject to sync across your devices.
